On May 1st, 1997 Ford Tool, & Machining acquired the assets of the pin division of Lathom Tool & Machine Company. Lathom has been manufacturing Knock Out Pins foor the cold forming industry for over 25 years.

This new division was relocated to a refurbished building on the Ford Tool premises and will operate as Lathom Pin, Division of Ford Tool & Machining.

Lathom Pin has recently expanded its product line to include ejector pins, core pins, return pins and locator pins for the injection molding and die cast industries.
